Band questions

Once surgery is complete... Approx. how many weeks after do you have your first fill?  From there..how often do you get a fill?  Also...is the fill done in the doctors office or somewhere else?  I am just trying to figure out a few things and I'd appreciate any feed back.  Thanks a bunch! 

I was told that after my sugery- I would have a follow up apt in 6 weeks with my Dr.  He would see how I was doing at that point and decide if I needed a fill.  If I did, we would schedule to have it done, as the first fill is done under flourescope not at the office.

At my 6 week appt. he attempted a fill in the office and had a problem.  Believe me it was my problem not his.  Some have absolutely no problem, but others like me did.  A fill was then order to be done 2 weeks later (that was the quickest date I could get at the time) under fluoro.  That is taken place in a small procedure room at the hospital.  I had my first two there, the last two in the office.   Fills are usually 6-8 weeks apart, if needed.  Follow the nutrition program carefully because that plays a big part in his decision making.
