Ok... I can't see to get myself....
MOTIVATED!!!! I'm doing all the right things as far as eating but the exercise is just not there. I was swimming at the Y but then having to compete with a swim club at the same time was very discouraging. I always say I want to walk but then it gets too cold and that poo-poos that idea.
Any suggestions?

How about a investing in a treadmill or joining a gym to walk on the treadmill? There is also Curves you can join.
You're going to have to make a decision if you really want to get into working out...it will help in weight loss but most importantly it will help tone and that's what we all need and want as we loose.
In the meantime..you can bundle up and walk 30 minutes a day outside...try the late afternoon (3pm) when the sun is the warmest.

how about a fun class- maybe bellydancing?? (I have a few dvd's I ordered from amazon on bellydancing for fitness- I can't wait to get them!) If you have one activity planned outside the home- like the gym or Y, then a back-up plan like a tape or machine to do at home, then it is really hard to turn aside exercise twice! You worked hard to get your approval for surgery, your testing done, your healing- don't throw it all away now. This is a commitement you need to make- for you!!!
