Cold Meds

OK, so I start my new life.  I feel awesome.  I have lost about 15lbs in 1 week.  I know, that is nuts.....  I still feel good and I am getting out and about.  I wish I could go back to curves, but I guess that would be pushing it. So here is my question!!!!! I feel so good except for this stupid cold I so gratiously was given as a gift from my kids.  What can I take?  I have not slept in 3 days because of congestion and when I sit up, my nose runs all over the place.  Now I have a small cough. Any Ideas would be great. Thanks, jen

I would call your pharmacist.  I know they make cold meds for Diabetics.   If sugar is the issue.  I'm so glad you are doing so well.  I feel great also.  I'm going back to work on Thursday.  He told me 2-3 weeks but I can't stay out that long.  I'll probably be pooped by the time I get home.  I'm down 8 pounds and tomorrow makes a week.  It feel so good to see the numbers go down.

Jenn, Sorry about the cold but glad you are doing well post op. Because you are still in the recovery stages...I'd call your surgeon's office before taking any meds. JMO   GL, I hope the cold passes quickly!

Call DR Roye before taking anything medications...it is still early so you should consult with him to make sure you are doing the right thing.
