OT - Holy Cow I am going to Paris..
wow what kind of job do you have???? Go to the Eifell Tower, it is awsome. Try to speak French. They dont care for Americans. I have been there twice. Once with a bunch of girl freinds many years ago and then with my husband (he is from Paris) and we visited his cousins. They spoke the language and it made a huge difference. Maybe if you have time, you can visit the Palaces at Versailles. That is beautiful and really something to see.
Have Fun. The food is great there!!!!! hahah
That would be great if you could ask. Hubby does not have a passport and doesn't have much of an interest in Paris in the winter. So he will be home taking care of our kitty...
I work at APC in West Kingston and have for a little over 10 years. I have never been to any of our other offices, unless you count West Warwick and East Providence and I don't...LOL
We are having a global standards meeting...but it doesn't start until Tuesday. I hope to take as much in as possible in the short time I have....
Go get the Lonely Planet book on Paris.Don't miss Notre Dame. The Louvre is great, but the Monet museum is stunning and smaller with less lines and hassle. Honestly, you must walk on the Chams Elysses, the epicenter of fashion and just people watch. The best time I had there was just walking around the city and getting lost along the Seine. Don't do the tourist stuff. Just walk around and pretend as if you belong there. I have been many times and I never had the feeling that they didn't like Americans as long as you don't come off as the obnoxious American that they expect us to be.
