Laproscopic?

Can I safely bet that most of the time, they do this surgery laproscopically these days? Also, what is the minimum time I am going to be back to my teaching job? I am a fast healer.

HI Sara, Yes, when possible they do the RNY and the Gastric Banding Laproscopically.  Not sure whoat your min time to go back to work would be with RNY - with LapBand I could have gone back within a week.  I believe RNY is longer...

I had th Lap Band and Dr. Roye told me 2-3 weeks out of work.
