I finally did it....

I bought a scale!  They did not weigh me on the day of surgery, so the last time I was weighed was Oct 31 when I went in for my pre-op appt. At that time I was 313.I've always believed I dont want to know daily what my weight is and once a week or once every other week was going to be just fine for me so I thought my post op follow up would be my next weigh in and then maybe I'd buy a scale. Alas, when I called to make my follow-up they cant get me in until Dec 10 because of the holidays. That would be almost 4 weeks since surgery and 6 weeks from my last weigh in. I am patient, but curiosity has me so I came home and set the scale up and stepped on.I was in shock at what I saw.....285!!!!!!!

I am so happy if it wouldnt hurt so much I'd dance around the room!!!

Congrats Angela.... You are doing wonderful, keep up the great work! I too don't have a scale and don't plan on buying one. Well I actually do...had hubby hide it well over 1 yr ago and he has since forgotten where he hid it and I've been fine with that. I'm one that will jump on it everyday and that has always been my worst enemy. I will do without.  Good luck wiht the new metal toy...lol

YEAH Angela!!!  I weigh myself once a week.  Sometimes once a day, but I only count my once a week weigh-in.    Congrats you are doing great!!!!!!
