Day 1 of my liquid diet..........

It's day 1 of the pre op liquid diet.  So far so good.  I had a shake for breakfast, one for lunch and a Healthy Choice meal for dinner.  I was hungry about an hour later and I know I could have one more shake, but the hunger passed and now I'm getting ready for bed.  I prayed to my Lord throughout the day.  As Carrie Underwood sings, I'm asking Jesus to take the wheel to steer me to this better, healthier life that I'm seeking.  I didn't mean to get all religious on you........jus****ched the Biggest Loser and I always get so emotional!  THank for listening!  NIte nite, Jules

see- and I thought I was the only one that became emotional after that show.  My husband laughs at me as I yell at the screen and get all weepy for some of them.

I'm on day 3 of the pre-op liquid diet and have lost 11 pounds! I guess I was really pounding more food then I thought.

That is great, Leslie!  This is day 2 and I am so hungry right now I really could cry.  I have another shake coming and I'm going to get it now.  I woke up last night by the growling of my stomach.  Being off the advil is also tough on the arthritis and I can barely move.  THis better be worth it in the end................it might be easier if they put me in a medically induced coma.......just kidding.  I feel bad for my husband who will be walking through the door from work at any moment lol I'm extra cranky tonight!  LOL

Hello! How long does the "liquid diet" have to last?? I see that it's pre-op so I am just wondering. My first appt ever is on November 28 and I can wait!! Marie
