So I only have 10 more pounds before I am no longer obese!!  That is the good news, the bad news is that I have lost some motivation to moving forward.  I feel so good and look good!  What do you do to keep your motivation up as you get closer to your goal??

Go Danielle Go!!!  You set these goals over 2 years ago...look how far you've come.  Look at the big picture: how many pounds are gone forever??  Give yourself a big pat on the back, you are an inspiration!!!  Love, Patty

Congrats Danielle. What a great accomplishment!  As far as the motivation..... If you are happy at where you are and your health is doing great, why push yourself for a number thing? On the flip side of that...it was a goal you made...will you feel complete over time if you did not complete that goal? Maybe try a rest with maintainance..and after time you just might have that motivation back to continue.  Good luck, you've come along way and you look and feel great!! Be proud!

Danielle I can only hope that I do as well as you have. You are truly a motivation to me as I go into surgery . What about buying some really cute dress or piece of lingerie that doesnt quite fit and hang it on your wall to remind you and help your motivation?  You know what though, even if you didnt lose that last 10 lbs, what you've done is amazing and I applaud you!

Hi Danielle,

You have accomplished so much.  You are an inspiration to us all!

You have done great so far, I'm sure you'll continue to do the same.  Just keep giving yourself positive talk and don't worry too much about it.  It will happen and you will reach your goals.

you are a motivation to me- seeing you have come so far.  you are soo close to your goal.  how long have you been fighting obesity?  have you gone through all that you have to let it win?  you are so strong to made this journey- just think of these last 10 lbs as your heartbreak hill (that last hill in the Boston marathon, the one only the best can make)  I am at the finish line cheering you on!!!

Wow Danielle!! Only ten pounds to go! How exciting! I'm so happy for you! I've found if I up my protien it helps. I wasn't losing much for several weeks, then I made sure I was getting the protien in as best I could and I lost five and a half pounds in two weeks. Which gets to be really tough as your reaching goal. I didn't see you at the last meeting, but I kinda shot out of there toward the end.  I'm sure Donna will provide lots more info, but they were talking about a holiday party for next meeting. Everyone will bring in a healthy version of a holiday recipe with the recipe written out. I think it might be a good idea to bring some copies if people want to try it at home. Or maybe we could post them on the weight loss success striders site. Any way, back to you. Can you remember yourself back at the beginning?? Could you ever imagine that you'd be saying you've only got ten pounds to go to no longer be considered obese??? You totally can do this! Whooo hoooooo! Nice job chicky! Pam
