It finally happened
For the first time since surgery I threw up my food today. I was at King Richard's Faire, and for lunch decided to try the turkey legs. I thought that would probably be the best protien wise, as the other things the had were stews with a lot of cream sauce, or pizza and other more fast food items.
I think what happened was the meat was too tough. I felt really bad after eating and about 15 minutes later it came back up. The good thing is after that I felt better. I guess it just part of the whole process and a leaning experience on what to look at for and what my new pouch dosen't like.
Hey Dave,
I have the lap band and believe me, even after a year, mine gives me trouble some days. My pouch is very picky some days and others it is fine....it is hard going out sometimes after surgery and trying to eat semi normal...I know that we bandsters have to have moist meat and I am sure it is the same for RNYers too.
You are doing great so far....very impressed...
ps...I used to work with you...I worked in Greenville though...remember the Disney Cruise???
