I'm having a love affair with Savers...
OK. I'm the first to admit I'm a bit of a snob...however, I was sick of spending a fortune on clothes that I wore a couple of times and then had to throw in the "too big" pile (not that I'm complaining, but still...). My sister convinced me to go to Savers, which is a second-hand consignment type store, but a chain. There is one in Pawtucket (or is that E. Providence?) and one in Warwick on Rt. 2 (which is bigger, cleaner and more organized).
Anyway, I'm a convert. I've bought about 10 pairs of pants there and they are cheap, cheap, cheap. All the stuff I've bought is Gap, Old Navy, Eddie Bauer, Calvin Klein (my first pair of CK jeans! For $10!!!) and LL Bean, and I haven't paid more than $10 for anything.
So, all of you "losers" out there who are sick of spending a ton of money on clothes, check out Savers.
They should pay me for this endorsement, shouldn't they?? LOL.
I have been a lover of Savers for the past 18 months. I go to the store in East Prov as it is closer to me. If I had not gone there for my clothes, I dont know what I would have done. I found the best jeans and tops ever there and like you said a fraction of the cost. Many wls members have gone there. It's a great place to shop. I must say that everytime I go, there are more and more people shopping there. I dont think I paid more than 5.99 for a pair of jeans and the same for the tops. For $25.00, and the over 55 discount, you come out with a whole lot of clothes!!! Carol B
This is funny that i see this on here, because i'm always in Savers (E. Providence). This past weekend i took a drive to the one in Warwick, my sister keep telling me that it is better than the E. Providence one and ofcourse it is. I love savers I can get great tops there for work and for play. Right know i'm having the hardest time finding pants that fit me right. The morjority of my weight is in my thights, hips and butt. So when buying pants i must buy to fit those areas, Which will leave the pants extra BIG on my waist.....What to do??????
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears
The figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair
The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes
Because that is the doorway to her heart
The place where love lies
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul
