Hi everyone, It's been a while since I last had any questions but I keep up every day with all of you.  This site is really addicting and it's hard to stay away.  A brief update : all of my testing is done and all I have left is the nut which is Oct 2nd and my last follow up with the sleep study Oct 17th.  After that I guess I make an appointment with Dr. Royes office to go over all the results.  If  I'm wrong about this please  let me know . Can anyone tell me what the process is once I make my appt with Dr. Roye?  Also any ideas on what to buy for the six weeks after WLS.?  I live in Cumberland and wonder if anyone knows  the best places to buy twhat we need.  Especially the unflavored protein.  I haven't been able to find anyplace that sells it.

Any information and help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sue, I didn't have the Dr. Royes but I had RNY about 7 weeks ago.  Your nutrionist will give you a meal plan to follow after surgery.  It's mainly clear soup, jello, water/crystal light and protein shakes for the first few days.  I drank atkins advantage, EAS carb advantage, and slim fast carb control.  Slim fast carb control has 20 grams of protein in a 11oz can.  I get them at Walmart and Target in the vitamen aisle.  Good luck, I hope this helps. Hi Landa, Thanks for the info.  It helps a lot.  Any idea where to get the unflavored protein people put into their puddings and food for extra protein?  I've tried a few health food stores and the only thing I've found is unflavored whey protein. Any ideas on what else to use and where to buy it?
