APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got the call from TriCare, I was about to cry when I heard the ladies voice.  I thought she was going to say I was denied....  Wow, I am so excited.  Now I can get ready for a healthy future.. I already got an appt. for an Echo. on Sat. morning.  Only a few more tests, and I will be done.  hope to have an appt. w/ Dr. Roye ASAP since I never know if/when my hubby will be leaving.  Annette was mean to me on the phone when I called there today.  All I wanted to know was could I make the necessary Appts. so I could get in w/ Dr. Roye.  She was like "No, you have to wait to get a letter in the mail".  When I told her that Kathleen said I could have the testing done at Newport Hospital, she was pissed.  I tried to explain my situation that Tom was probably leaving for Afghanastan and i wanted to get in soon, she almost seemed like she did not care.  OOhh well, nobody is going to burst my bubble today... wooooooooo hooooooooooo Jen!!!   Maybe we can get adjoinin rooms after surgerY?  lol I finished all my tests last week... called today for appointment with Dr. Roye... I'm going back to him on October 5th.  I actually want to postpone surgery date to mid to late November - like I said before, my folks will be back from Florida by then so we'll have some help with the kids and also, would be nice to have the month before Christmas off from work :) btw - Jen, Iost your phone # - email it to me or I'll get it from your mom at work this week - my email is [email protected]  Pam

Jen----so psyched for you! yippee! i have all of my tests scheduled and will be done on october 15! don't let anyone burst your bubble. by the way...about annette....it is a huge office and she is it! she has to do all of the scheduling so be patient and kill her with kindness. honestly.....they told me that my packet would arrive in a couple of days and it took almost a month. my friend is off to kuwait in three weeks and another to afghanistan. anywho! congrats again! Yeah, Jenn!  You go, Girl! I don't understand the hesitancy in using Newport Hospital at all.  They are all connected & can simply download if they need to. Islander

Jen, I had all my tests done at Newport Hospital - they have access to "Patient Links" and should be able to access any results just as well as the RI Hospital system.  The only thing Annette was upset over was she had already scheduled my tests for RI Hospital and I agreed to make all my appointments myself in Newport. good luck again!!! Thanks Pam, I am going to schedual the rest on my own.  Do you know where or who does the Gallbladder ultrasound and the Hida Scan?  Is it the same test?  I dont know who to call to do it. Jen
