I just got the call…….finally….and no apnea! YAY! I was stressing out about having to go back to the hospital again thinking it would put things in a hoding pattern, but as it turns out I wont have to, because my test came back as normal!

I am officially done with all my pre-op testing I can do. I do have to go to Roger Williams on Oct 2 to get injected with radioactive stuff to find out whats causing a small heart murmur but the cardiologist told me that has no effect on being able to have the surgery and was sending Dr Pohl a report saying I was ok to go. But,  as far as Dr Pohls list, that just leaves the EGD and  I guess I’ll have to wait to see him for that.

Still another 6 weeks to go before my first appt with Dr Pohl, but hoping I can get in on a cancellation sooner. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Yipee!! I feel like dancing around the room and if I wasn’t at work, I just might! Can you imagine how I’ll be once I get a date?? My hubby will think I’ve lost my mind!

So how is everyone else coming along on their tests if you’re still pre-op? And for you post-op out there, Any stories  or tips about your tests or the process you want to share?

Good for you Angela.  Its all down hill from here.   I just had my sleep study last night and I have my phych eval next Thursday I'll  do my ekg and chest-xray the same day since the Phych eval is going to be an all day thing.
