thanks patty,   i'm a little anxious, but mostly excited.  we went to narragansett for a last dinner at champlin's.  my sister, neice, nephew-in-law and great nephew joined us.  it was great fun.  sean is making me a last somemore, then off to bed.  i have to be at the hospital at 10-surgery is planned for 12.  maybe pj or sean will post when they get home tomorrow night.  if not, i'll try to be on on tuesday.

well, i got home at about 4:00 pm. thanks for the seat on the loser's bench.  i'm a little sore, but not bad. had some beef broth and jello for dinner. didn't get much sleep last night, so i"m going to go to bed now.  will try to be on tomorrow.

just wondering how you are doing/feeling

thanks for the concern.  i'm doing well.  i was 248 at the hospital last monday and according to my scale, 239 today.  i am still a little sore at times, but for the most part feeling good.  have my followup next wednesday with dr. ryder.  i'm already off one diabetes med and cut one asthma med in half. i.ll be at the wls support group at rih next wednesday, hope to see lots of people there.
