HI!! I'm Angela, I'm 36 years old, a Project Manager, and live in Bristol. I've only been a resident of RI for just over a year so I'm still learning my way around and getting to know people in the area. I moved up here to be with my now husband (as of June 23) and I love it here so far.   My PCP referred me for RNY back in June and I've been going full force since then. I've done the seminar and my last test that I can complete for now is set for Friday and then I'll only have the EGD which I cant get scheduled until I see Dr Pohl. Right now I'm set to see Dr Pohl on Oct 29, but hoping I can catch a cancellation before then. I absoluely LOVE this board and try to post when I have time and am inspired by everyone here and grateful for the knowledge.

Well, I am back.  Kids home safely.  My name is Jen and I am in the approval process.  I am from Middletown.  My hubby is Navy and we move alot.  We now own a home in Tiverton, been here about a year.  We plan to move next August, possibly over seas.  I am dying to have my RNY.  Ia m going crazy waiting for my answer.  I called TriCare again yesterday.  Apparently, Dr. Roye's nurse did not send them all of my paperwork so they are now in the process of getting it all together now.  I am really aggravated because I thought we were clear on what needed to be sent for approval.  I have called the office 3 times in the last 2 days, and I have not gotton a call back.  I am ready to make my way there and pay a little visit.  I want to know what is going on and noone will tell me.  Has anyone else had this problem with Dr. Roye's office?  Anyway, I love this site.  Not sure I cold have gotton this far with out all of your advise.  Hey Kim, are you from Newport?  I wonder if I know you.  I am 33 graduate of MHS 1992.  And Dave, my congrats to you.  New babies are awesome.  Enjoy her!!!!!!  Hope your feeling better soon. Hi Jen,     I have lived in Newport for about 15 years now.  I am 37 and went to E Providence for HS. I was at the support meeting the other night with my girlfriend Jullee ( she posts on here sometimes) and saw you and you did look famliar to me but can't put my finger on it.  Anyways nice to meet you.  And don't worry your approval will be here before you know it and have your date.  Good Luck.
