halloween costume shopping
I am so hoping by this time next year to not have to look at the "plus size" costumes. They are either completely hidious or now they have the "sexy line" which my husband keeps looking at and thinking I am going to be looking like the models in the pic- no way! We were looking for a couples themed costume, as we always get dressed up and go all out with the kids. I am leaning towards "Grease" with just black top/capri's and a "Pink Ladies" jacket, and he would look oh so yummy in a black moto jacket. I also saw a cute Red Riding Hood outfit that wasn't completely revealing- he could be the hunter or big bad wolf, either would be cute. He is pushing for Hugh Hefner and a Playboy Bunny- can we say- NO WAY!!! Maybe another year- but not this one!
my husband's family goes all out for all the holidays- their house is always featured on the news seasonally for decorating and also on blackstone valley tours for the same. Because of how crazy they go decorating, the police actually park at both ends of thier neighborhood to make sure no one but people with family in the plat or people who live there get in. The residents around there go through at least 20 big bags of candy each. They say they have an additional "candy tax" they must pay each year. All the family including cousins come over, mostly everyone gets into the spirit and dresses. I LOVE it as I would always dress for Halloween and now have a real excuse to!
