I'm almost 3 weeks post op for gastric bypass and on the "gound consistancy" portion of my eating plan that the nutritionist gave me.  But I am getting bored with the yogurt, cottage cheese, cream of wheat and disgusted with meat.  Anyone out there have any suggested on what to eat.  by the way, I will not be pureeing anything, I'd rather chew my food until my teeth get tired.   Thanks ahead of time.

Landa, ,  Have you tried scrambled eggs? I like mine with some low fat cheese.  I have been eating with my family at dinner.  If we are having chicken, I can chew it well.  I make my self a little mashed potato and have a small amount of veggies.  We had hambergers the other day.  I had mine with condiments but without the bun, I did have to put it in the magic bullet to make it gound.  I was glad I used the bullet for that it would have been to tough.  The plan I got from my NUT said at this stage I should have 2-3oz meat, 1/4c mashed(real) potato and 1/4 cup fruit or veggies.  I am making a meatloaf(turkey) tonight , it will go in the bullet for me.  Hope that helps
