Tommorow's the day
Thanks for all the good wishes. This will probably be my last post as a pre-op as I'll be leaving shortly for the hospital. I wanted to thank everyone for being so supportive and I feel good having met so many nice people here on this board.
Looking foward to sharing my experiences with everyone and taking my place on the losers bench.

Hi Dave,
Don't worry about a thing!! Go in there ready to to start a new way of life. Don't panic, things will go just fine. It will take time to adjust after, but it's one day at a time. It goes by very quickly, as we all that had the gastric by pass and lap band know. Eating will be quite a chore for awhile....learning what you can handle and what you can't. I had my surgery last may 2006, and I feel just wonderful. People tell you that you lose the most in the first year. THIS IS VERY TRUE. It's a tool and and great one at that! I don't even feel that my innards are all re-routed. I just know I lost 109 lbs and I feel just great!!! See you on the "losers bench". It was definately worth the wait!!
