This is not an uncommon request, but often the Dr will put you on a specific diet vs just saying go out there and do it. The liquid diets are not a bad idea, but you want to do one that has a good amount of protein (I like the Sugar Free Carnation Instant breakfast). I would do this for breakfast and lunch. In between breakfast and lunch and dinner plan on a good snack. Like a string cheese or veggies or fruit. The for dinner focus on having at least 3 oz of protein and then all the veggies you want.
