Dr Messier's group today

Hi, just wondering if anyone is going to Dr Messier's group today.  I've missed two weeks and am looking forward to going.  ALso, I return to work in two weeks which means I won't be able to attend her group sessions anymore.  Does anyone know what happens then?  I get out of work at 3:45 and I work in Coventry.  I'm looking to see a psych person (either group or individual) somewhere between Warwick and Johnston.  I don't want to be dealing with Providence traffic.  Any ideas?  Thanks!  Jules

I wasn't able to go today because of work, but will be going next week as it's the week before my surgery.  At one of the past meetings Dr Messier said that they were working on adding additional group meetings to meet the demand and at different times like later in the day for those who have trouble getting out of work.  If you like her and the group this maybe an option. dave

Hi David, we had some new people at group today and it was a good session.  There is no session next week - she is on vacation. I will call her tomorrow to discuss other options.  I picked up some good stuff this week and tomorrow, I'm throwing out the junk I have in my cupboards.  I thought all those 100 calorie packs were good but I found out otherwise!  So, off they go!   In case I don't get to chat with you on here before your surgery, best of luck!  You'll be in my prayers.  You are already off with a great weight loss.  Also, I have taken your suggestions.  I have the Atkins Advantage breakfast bar for lunch.  At lunch, one of the shakes.  I'm trying to work on a healthy dinner now.  Thanks for the tip!  Jules
