Hi All- so what do I expect next????

I chose Dr.Roye a my surgeon. I haven't had any contact with the staff besides the NP she was very nice.
Did you have to have your testing done before you got approval? I have B/C Healthmate and I had to get approval before I could do any testings. My approval took about 2 weeks. They told me to expect 3 weeks total so that they got all the paper work I needed sent to me. I don't know if this helps.
Thanks guys, The insurance co. bc/bc anthem requires 3 things. A BMI greater than 40, a medical issue related to weight, and the phyc eval. I have done that and am waiting for the approval.
YES OMG! that evil women Annette, I called yesterday to see if they heard anything, she put me on hold for a long time then came back and told me " I am too busy answering the phone, I can't get to your chart right now, call back later".
WRONG I don't think so. I told the evil women that I have a sleep study scheduled and if I don't have the approval I need to change the appt. She then told me to wait again and came back with her attitude and told me that they recieved the phyc letter in the mail today and that it will take several weeks before they would have an answer. I then told here that I would like to speak with Kathleen, she asked why? Not her business! I said I would like her to know how Unprofessional you are and that i do not appreciate it. "She was worried and tried to make up for it, too late". She told me that Kathleen was with a patient so I told her I would call back.
Funny! she called me back and could not have been nicer. She wanted to make sure that I received my packet and if I needed any other infomation while I was waiting for my approval, She tells me to have a nice day, she says call if you need anything". Hugh!
Sorry about the rambling but other WLS members have also been treated this way so I need to tell anyone that doesn't already know how she is.
DO NOT take that crap from her, STAND YOUR GROUND!!

I LOVE DR,ROYE JUST SAW HIM ABOUT AN HOUR AGO. DIDNT GET A FILL AND I AGREE TO WAIT TILL NEXT MONTH AFTER I HAVE SURGERY. HE SAID HE DOESNOT WANT TO EFFECT THE NUTRICICAN NEEDED FOR HEALING. SO NEXT MONTH AFTER THE PROCEDURE IN GOING IN FOR A FILL . HE IS A WONDERFUL DR. .OH YOU HEARD IT HERE HE IS GOING TO BE A NEW PAPA AT THE END OF THE YEAR HIS OTHER DAUGHTER IS JUST ABOUT 1 NOW . SO CONGRADULATE HIM AND TELL HIM YOU GOT IT FROM THE WEB LOL
