Hi! ..a brief introduction
I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself, my name is Angela and I'm from Bristol. I've just been referred to Dr Pohl from my wonderful PCP for WLS and so I'm just beginning the entire process and in my research I found this board which I've practically lived on for the last 3 days.
I was actually scheduled for WLS about 15 years ago and at the last minute my insurance came back and denied it because then it was still not widely performed so this is my second attempt and I'd love to talk to any of you who have advice, encouragement or any other tidbits you'd like to share.
I'm sure I will become a pretty active member here and look forward to getting to know you all in my journey.

I'm Dave, new to this site, but been on the WLS journey since April. My surgeon is Dr Giovanni, who works with Dr Pohl. I have all my testing done and just got my insurance approval. Right now I'm jus****ing for all my test results to get to the doctor and have my chart reviewed. After that I'll be able to get my next appointment and hopefully have a surgery date.
