My freakin UNFILL!!!!!!!!!

OK, so yesterday afternoon my liquids started getting stuck..yes, my LIQUIDS got stuck!!!!!! I was in so much pain, more pain then when I first got the band! So I called Dr. Roye's office and they paged him, he called me right back said give it a couple hours and ill call you back...sure enough an hour and a half later, he called me back ( I love that man) I was still in excruciating pain and had thrown up at that point. He told me to go to the ER at RI Hospital. On my way up there he called back again and told me to meet him at the elevators outside of his office. Here he came in shorts and a tshirt (nice legs doc)! He had been at his sons baseball game..I felt so bad but hell I was in some pain!!!! Anywho, he took me into a room and unfilled my band and put just 6/10 of a CC back in....grrrr.....I felt instantly better but im a lil disappointed that I dont have the full 1cc in!!!!!

Don't be discouraged...it just means you need to be filled more slowly.  It is about the restriction..and learning how to eat..and eating better.  Not about how much you have in your band.  I am sorry this happened...it will be okay.

Oh my God Jullee,  That is terrible.  I'm glad we have a doctor that is right there for us. You will still be getting restriction, just a bit slower.  I Feel bad that you had to go through all of that.   Keep me posted on how you feel today Nancy

What a horrible thing to go through! Glad you are feeling better! It's nice to know that Dr. Roye is there on the spot when you need him. That's a hard to come by these days. Nice leg's too, eh?

Sorry to hear about that Jullee.  Maybe you're the type of person who won't need much in their band...which could be a good thing.  And it's good that you found this out now...so in the future Dr. Roye will only add a small amount at each time.

Yah....hes got nice everything if you ask me...lol...cutie patutie he is!!! lol Kathy..your right...at least now he knows to just put a lil bit in....im still frigggin hungry though..lol

Ok - did he schedule you for another fill?  How does he work this now?

I have to go in on the 10th..not sure if hes doing another fill that day or not
