I'm scheduled to see Dr. Roye on July 11th. I made the appt. on Friday.  Does it usually take this long to see him ?  If so, Is it easier to get in and see one of the other physicians in his office?

It is to my understanding that it takes 2-3 weeks from initial call to get in, no matter what Dr. you have. Nothing wrong with calling and asking though. The most they can do is say; "It's all the same." Good Luck!  :) ~Dawn

No problem fogo    I understand completely  about wanting to get in and get things done quick.  LOL  The more I wanted it to fly, the slower it all seemed to  go.  Take my word ...  Take it one day at a time and try to enjoy the ride... it will go smoother if you do.   ~Dawn

Hi Fogo!

After attending a three hour seminar, I scheduled my appointment with Dr Pohl in the middle of April and the best they could do was June 28th.  But I have been doing alot of the testing ....

Good luck

I'm attending a seminar this Thursday in Providence. From what I hear, it's a requirement. Either way, I wanted to go. Fogo,    Thats something you can do while waiting for your appointment to arrive. Go to the seminar in Providence, also there is a WLSS (Weight Loss Success Striders) held at RI Hospital in Gerry Bldg. once a month. It's a great way to jump into the journey... You too Kim! ~Dawn

Most doctors want you to go to a seminar, that it's a requirement. I don't know if Dr. Roye wants that or not, but it can't hurt. June 14th 6pm-9pm Roger Williams Hospital Kaye Auditorium Dr. Pohl and Dr. Giovanni will be the host's. ~Dawn
