BANDED!!

I cannot believe it is over...or just beginning!! I am EXTREMELY sore so I can't post much. I was taken in yesterday am at 7:30. Right on time. I woke up at 11:15. Got GREAT IV meds all night and was released this am. I am on Vic's for pain. SO I am cutting the pills in 1/4. I called the on call Doc and he told me to cru**** if I had to..he wouldn't give me liquid form.  It's weird feeling restriction! I do forget and drink too fast and feel it stop only to slowly go down. It's pretty cool! I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach by the HULK!! lol The diet is a bit confsing. In the hospital I was getting protein shakes and clear liq. My discharge papers just say "liquids" and shakes. Don't know if it means clears or full. Guess I'll call her on Monday to find out. Thanks so much for all your support. It means so very much!! I'm off to go walk around the apt....

Good luck with your recovery.  This is my first posting.  I am scheduled to have the bypass surgery on Tuesday the 12th.  Getting nervous now.  You were released so quick.  My surgery is being done by Dr. Roye.  Good luck to you.  I am sure you will feel better soon.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SURGERY AND YOUR IN GOOD HANDS I LOVE DR. ROYE HIS IS THE BEST . YOU DONT MEET MANY KIND AND CAREING DR. HE HAS A GOOD MANOR ABOUT HIM. AND HIS FOLLOW UP CARE IS GOOD.  THE OFFICE IS GOOD ABOUT ANSWERING ALL YOUR QUESTIONS AND THEN THERE ARE THE REST OF US HERE. WERE ALL LEARNING AS WE GO ALONG AND SHARE WHAT WE LEARNED .. ENJOY AND REST WHILE YOUR HOME AND REMEMBER TO DRINK DRINK DRINK IT FILLS YOU UP AND HAVE POPCICLES AND BROTH. ITS NOT SO BAD IN THE BEGINING. IN THE THIRD WEEK OR SO YOUR MIND WILL BE HUNGRY NOT YOUR BODY . BUT YOU WILL LOVE THE RESULTS   TAKE CARE   ELAINE
