So I went to visit my good looking Doctor- and As we went through the Appointment he talked to us about the Gastric Sleeve- he commented that the sleeve would be a better choice for me due to my young age - 23.

Before I had my visit I was determined to get Lap-band, but now I am hearing more and more about this Gastric Sleeve.  The problem is that I have not heard anything on this forum about it. I dont know anyone whos had it, and I don't know about any of its complications just yet. I have been doing some research and dont seem to find any actual people who have had the surgery?!?!?

Guys any feedback would be appreciated.

http://obesityhelp.com/forums/vsg/a,messageboard/board_id,5463/   You might want to look there.  It sounds like you are having VSG.   That is the message board for the sleeve.

"Because we do not know when we will die we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well and yet everything happens only a certain number of times and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your life that you can't even conceive of your life without it. Perhaps four or five times more? Perhaps not even that. How many times will you watch the full moon rise, perhaps twenty, and yet it all seems so limitless."
