Im fine, just freakin out a lil...tomorrow is my big day. I have to call Dr. Roye's office today to get the time in which I will have to go to the hospital....my tummy hurts just thinking about it!!! Its been hectic trying to figure out what im doing with the kiddies, whos coming with me to the hospital, getting TDI situated, finishing up last minute stuff here at work, blah blah blah...lol..you know what im talking about!!! Hi Jullee, Good luck tomorrow! You must be so excited!!! Don't worry, you'll be fine.....I know, easy for me to say as I haven't had my band yet, but everyone pulls through and just think - you'll be on the losing side so soon!!! God, I'm excited for you!!! My surgery is scheduled for 5/3 - just around the corner. I'm still trying to lose those 10 pounds damn it! How much time are you taking out of work? How come you're getting TDI? I'm wondering if I should look into this??? Kathy

Hi Kathy!! I know its tough losing the weight, especially when someone tells you that you HAVE to lose it..lol...you can do it though, shoot..if I can do it then ANYONE can do it!!! Dr. Roye has me out until May 7th, so about 2 1/2 weeks...I figured it would be sooner but heck, im not gonna question it! I can really use the time off anyway! lol Im getting TDI and STD (short term disability, thru my job) because ive used all my vacation time on having to be home with the kids when they got sick or docs appointments for this surgery....lots and lots of doc appointments..LOL You should definintely look into it, RI is the only state that offers TDI anymore, and you pay into it so why not use it!!!! How did you lose the 10 pounds? I wonder how come Dr. Roye never told me about that much time off. I think I'm going to call his office today and see what he says.

I drank lots of water. started walking on lunch and reduced portion size. I also started eating on a schedule...sounds weird but it works!!!!! As for Dr. Roye....I would call. He told me at my last appointment with him that it would be 2-3 weeks recovery time and 36-48 hours in the hospital. Let me know what he says....and FYI...I just got off the phone with his nurse to see what time my surgery is scheduled for and its at 1045..holy crapoli...and also I wanted to see if he can call in my pain meds early cuz my pharmacy doesnt carry liquid meds and they cant do that until the day of my surgery...grrrr.....hopefully they will give me a days supply....lol

Hi Jullee, I have been thinking about you all weekend. I was wondering if you were getting nervous, and I read that you are, which is normal. I am sending you an to be with you through this whole process. I am sure that she will protect you and watch over you tomorrow. What time do you have to be at the hospital in the morning? Are you all packed? What did you Pack? I will need to stat packing my bag soon. I won't get my date until 4/27/07. I know that it is only a little over a week away, but it is " SO CLOSE, BUT FAR AWAY" I hope my singing did not damage anyone's hearing!!! All my thoughts and prayers, Paula

Hi Paula!! Thank you for thinking about me.... its been a crazy week so I havent packed yet..im gonna do that tonight. Im not packing much though. Some jammies, slippers, brush, hair ties, deodorant, lotion, socks....and thats about it. I believe ill only be there for a day so I dont need too much. I have to be there at 945, my surgery is at 1045. Ill keep you posted as to how I make out!! Hopefully you will get a date sooner then later!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your singing is no worse then mine!! Paula, How long do you plan on being in the hospital? I thought it was in and out same day. But according to Jullee, she's planning on almost 48 hours!! Thanks, Kathy
