Don't be such a stressball!!! Everything will work out, I promise. I never even paid attention to calories in the beginning, but I don't know if the band is different. As far as protein, you can also try Any Whey unflavored (I bought mine at GNC). It has 17 g of protein per scoop, and I mix it in yogurt, pudding, and I use it to make PB protein balls (1 c natural PB, 1 c quaker oats, 1 scoop pro powder and splenda to taste - roll into small balls and store in the fridge). I don't know your eating rules, so I would wait to try them until you ask your doc or dietitian!
I mostly hang out at the RNY board, it is much much busier, the main board is also pretty busy.
Today is my 2 month surgiversary! Down 46 pounds!! Went shopping today and am down almost 2 pants sizes. Yay. I won't be at group tomorrow (hubby has a dentist appt), tell everyone I said hi and I will be there next week!

Dr Pohl wants shakes that do not contain milk and are less than 100 calories. This was fine in the beginning for me but now I just about only drink the Carnation Instant breakfast. I think it is more important to consume our calories with real food vs taking just vitimins. However, if you have a difficult time losing once you start having fills, cutting out liquid calories is the first item to change.
