Hi, I'm just curious as to how long it took for NHP patients to get their insurance approval? I hear that they're a tough insurance company to get approval from. My doc. says she was going to submit my packet on 3/27/07, how long should I wait before I call her office back to find out if I've been approved or not? Thanks for your help, Landa

That is great to hear. I have heard others with the same stories. I just haven't heard anything about others that have had the LapBand approved through NHPRI yet. I am going keep my fingers crossed. Thank you for responding to her. I was wondering the same thing. You don't hear much about NHPRI people on the board. Most people have Blue Cross.

Thanks for the info. I only have one more test to go...I'll be having the endoscopy on Tues. 4/10. and I'm still going to the support groups with Dr. Messier because I didn't pass the psych eval. I'm going to call Dr. G's office on Tues(that will be exactly 2 weeks since my initial consult) to find out if they've heard any news yet. Once again thanks.
