Who has had the band???

Hi all, I've been looking at this sight for quite some time now - but have noticed that most of you have had the RNY. Who has had the band? I'm meeting with Dr. Roye next Friday and hopefully will get my surgery date then. Kathy

Hi Jullee, How long did you have to wait after seeing your doctor - meaning you saw him on what date and received your surgery date? I see my doc on Friday and am hoping he'll give me my date then.

Hi kathy, have you already done all your testing? Mine was all done, so when I went for my appt with Dr. Roye, he scheduled me for surgery right then. That was March 30th and my surgery is April 18th!! Sooner then I thought, I figured id have to wait until at least June or July.

I saw the Dr. Ryder in February, got my packet in March, and am in the process of doing my testing/consults. I should have it all done by the first week in May - TONS OF IT! dang! Then once its all done, I have to make another appointment with her to get a surgery date. I'm hoping for June/July because I'm a school teacher assistant, and I'd love to get banded while on summer break. Best wishes to ya!
