What a relief !

Oh what a wonderful feeling!!!!!

My first test will be on March 9th. I already completed a sleep study with that my PCP sent me to for testing, but they have down that I need a sleep study did anyone else have to do a 2nd sleep study?? I am going to call the office tomorrow and ask about it. I think I can see loserville just ahead.

Good luck Paula. I didn't have to do a sleep study at all. I would call whoever has you down for the sleep study and see if the frst one you went to is sufficient. It might be that they need some records that they didn't get yet. Good luck!! Danielle

Yes, I would ask because they probably didn't get the paper work that shows it. The only way usually you need a second sleep study is if they find you do have SA and they want to try you on the C-Pap. I was lucky in a way because they found that I did have SA so they came in 1/2 way through the night to put me on a C-Pap, and then I didn't have to go to the 2nd one.

Dear Paula, When you have your first sleep study overnight, it determines wither or not you have sleep apnea and just how severe it is. The second part of the study is if using the machine actually helps you not wake up while you sleep. When I had mine, they explained it to me that way. Everyone I know who has had a study done has had it done in 2 parts. I would assume yours would be the same. Did they use the pap machine on you the first night?
