Yes, I would ask because they probably didn't get the paper work that shows it. The only way usually you need a second sleep study is if they find you do have SA and they want to try you on the C-Pap. I was lucky in a way because they found that I did have SA so they came in 1/2 way through the night to put me on a C-Pap, and then I didn't have to go to the 2nd one.
Dear Paula,
When you have your first sleep study overnight, it determines wither or not you have sleep apnea and just how severe it is. The second part of the study is if using the machine actually helps you not wake up while you sleep. When I had mine, they explained it to me that way. Everyone I know who has had a study done has had it done in 2 parts. I would assume yours would be the same. Did they use the pap machine on you the first night? I hope this helps.....good luck, god bless and congrats about your new journey to the new you!!! Patti from NH having surgery in RI
I called the office yesterday and they said I was all set. I
have had my CPAP machine just over a month now and I can't believe how rested I feel.
Mark one more off the pre-list
I have my nutritional evaluation next week and I have 4 more test in the following 2 weeks. I am going full force to knock out this list.
Thanks, Paula
