I got my date today......It's March 27, i'm so happy, excited, and scared all at once. I need an angel if there is any out there. I will keep you all in the loop when i get home. Keep me in your prays Lave

Hi Letitia Yeah!!! Congrats on your surgery date! What type of surgery are you having? Don't be scared. Where are you having your surgery and who's doing it? It's normal to be nervous, but you've come so far! I'm happy for you!!! Pam

My date is Feb 27th and I know how you feel about being nervous. I am a bundle of them lately. I am also going to Roger Williams, but Dr. Pohl is doing my surgery...they are in the same office aren't they? Are you on any kind of diet?

Hi and Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had my surgery with Dr Pohl on Feb 4th and it was fantastic. Nothing to be frightened about everybody from admitting to Discharge was very special and caring. Do what they tell you the pre diet and the very next day after surgery get up and walk and you will be great. The Nurses ar RW are spectacular and they will take great care of you. I have lost 72 lbs and feel fantastic. I know everything will be well with you you are in great hands. Keep us informed. Tom

Hi- Dont be scared. It really was a piece of cake. I have had pre-menstrual cramps which were more painful. I have had surgery 3 weeks ago. Lost 14.5 pounds. No pain meds at all after 5 days. Morphine the first night. I had laproscopic bypass. Weight is rolling off. Today I actually walked out of my shoe lol no need to be fearful This operation is routine now. Linda
