Yesterday I had an appointment with Dr. Pohl for a surgery date!! Everything is in order and surgery is a go!! WhoooHooo. Elaine will be calling in the next few days to pick a date. I own my own business and this time of year is quite busy, so Dr. Pohl said I could have it done in April when it is slower for me. I am so very excited and just a bit scared at the same time!! Now I just have to prepair my heart, body, soul and the family...LOL.... Patti from NH having surgery in RI

Thanks for your comment Yolanda. I just want to let you know that my insurance company wanted 1 year's worth of doctor supervised dieting with proof of exercise and also all means taken including taking medication. Then they would review and let me know, and then after surgery, they would review it again before payment. Luckily, I am able to afford the surgery, so I am paying for it myself. I didn't want to wait another year. I am too afraid of complications from being obese.
