More Surgery

I had my procedure done and the doctor found a leak in the band. As I said, I reported to the doctor that I have never felt any restriction since my first fill 5 months ago. I have a slow leak. He placd 2cc. in 2 weeks ago under fluoroscopy and he could only extract .8cc. I have to go in and have the whole surgery done again on February 28th. Has anyone heard of this? I am so upset and disappointed at this turn of events. It has been such a battle as I have never felt full.

So sorry Heidi...I have not had this experience, but understand how dissapointing it must be.

so sorry to hear....you should post a message on the Lap Band board...I know a few people over there have had to have the band and/or port replaced. That really stinks, but maybe you just got a defective band. Someone over there can probably guide you on what to expect the 2nd time around.... I will say a little prayer for you..and if you need to vent, we are all here to listen!! take care, Kristen D
