The good news and the bad news

So it's been a tough day....my DH was admitted to the ICU as he has pneumonia..or so we think, they will be testing his heart in the morning. His lungs are definitely full of fluid and the next 24 hours will be crucial.. We were both supposed to attend our first consultation for WLS on Friday...they called me today to ask if we could come tomorrow as there may be snow on Friday...OMG the mixed emotions!!!!!!!!!! I said I would go...it will just be a few hours away from the hubby and as of tonight he is already doing a little better... So please send good thoughts my way in hopes that everything will calm down for my hubby by tomorrow and he has a speedy recovery. Thanks for letting me vent. Melissa

Oh Melissa, That stinks!!! I will say a prayer for you guys!! I know how much you have been looking forward to your appointment!! Try to go to the appt....he will be in good hands in the hospital and it will only be for a few hours and knowing that he has people taking care of him will at least ease your mind a little. Let me know how you make out and how your husbands test come out!!! Take care of yourself!! Kristen

Hey, sorry I havent updated. Hubby had pneumonia and congestive heart failure...but is much better now!!!! its been a tough week. My appointment went well, they think i am a good candidate for surgery and I am seeing the therapist and nut next saturday......YEAH Have to do a 5 day protein diet starting monday so i am in ketosis on saturday Thanks for checking on me Melissa

I'm glad hubby is doing better! Just wanted to let you know that you're both in my thoughts Good luck at the therapist and with the nutritionist I can't wait to be posting my updates on here!
