Today, one year ago , I had my RNY bypass. I can not believe the difference in my whole attitude. I am happier, more confident, and have so much more energy. I am doing things there is no way I could have a year ago. I have posted a picture to show the difference between last January and this, just go to my page and see my photos. ~Donna~

Hey Donna, Congratulations!!! Wow! I checked out your photos, amazing! You can see in your smile and your eyes that you are definitely happier. Yeah!!! BTW I thought the "moose" photo was pretty funny. How has the "journey" been? I'm about 6 months right now, and down 80lbs . I'm happy too and hoping I will continue to lose another 50lbs Hey, I just realized, you've also made the century club! Congrats again! Pam

Pam, Thank you and congratulations to you too. 80 pounds with 50 to go.................you go girl!!! I still have 40 I want to lose, and I will!! The journey has been amazing..................I hardly ever dump anymore, once in a blue moon................I noticed chinese food is not agreeable to me. For a long time it was chicken, but I am over that now. I no longer have any of the health issues I had a year ago. No more diabetes related problems, no more sleep apnea, no more edima, no more high cholesterol, no more high blood pressure, no more GERD. I feel so GOOD!!! I had to add that "moose" picture to my profile because I thought it showed the best of me and my sons................we get along great and have a great sense of humor together. Good Luck on your journey, I wish you the best of health. ~Donna~

WoW, What a difference a year makes indeed. Congrats !!!!! The photos show the true story. You must feel great too. I can't wait till this time next year to compare. I have surgery on January 30th. I didn't want to take pictures. In fact I have always shunned photographs but I guess I should record the difference, just for the record and maybee to keep me from ever going back. Thanks for the inspiration I will have my wife take photos this week. Again Congrats on your tremendous accomplishment and all the best. Tom
