OT: Dermatologist..
Hi Danielle,
I have a wonderful dermatologist, however her closest office to you would be in Providence. Her name is Elizabeth Welch, she's at 100 Highland Ave in Providence
(401) 331- 0310. I have seen her mainly in her office in Cumberland, although it's been quite some time since I've seen her. If you have a particularly difficult condition, she can be tenacious in trying to resolve it, which I think is great.
Doesn't seem like too many people are visiting the board lately. Not sure why. Must have something to do with January, there were hardly any members at the support group meeting this month at the Gerry House at RIH. Disappointing.
Hope that helps.

hi there.
i wouldn't say they are anti-lap, at all - only that they just recently started doing the procedure, so there weren't any lapband patients to attend and get a lap band presence. that has since changed, and i'm sure it will be changing now that USA has started doing lapbands.
i think a lot of the questions/comments that are discussed can be attributed to both procedures. plus, it might be good for the group to have an "older" post-op bandster there for the experience questions.
cheers,

I also would recommend Welch for a dermatologist. I go to Steven Welch. The office has a good reputation. As for the meeting and bandsters, why don't we "band" together and make an effort to recruit as many of us as we can and then......they will have to be pro band. Who's with me? Oh, and when is it again, lol
