Health insurance

Hi do9es anyone here have rite care or nrighborhood ,, i have the state of rhodeisland health care and welli,m tryin to see if i could hAVE THE SURGERY I,M 37 I WEIGH 290 STARTED OUT AT 345 AND I HAVE DIABETIES AND HIGHBLOOD PRESSURE AND DEPRESSION nd chronice heaRTBURN,,AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYTONE ESLSE GHAS THIS INSURANCE ABD GOT APPROVED

I have neighborhood, but I haven't gotten approved yet. I need to get a hold of my surgeon's office and talk to them. I have called the insurance and they do cover the gastric bypass. I haven't talked to them lately for the LapBand. We will see. What doctor are you going to? Happy Holidays, Jamice

Hi- I think the four most stressful days of my life were waiting for my approval. I was approved three days after my first visit with Doctor Roye and the way I found out was to call the insurance company(Blue Cross Healthmate) with my palms literally dripping and almost fainting while the customer service person was checking the approval. I think the waiting is torture, its like time stands still.. Anyway with your issues they will not deny you. Diabetes and high blood pressure and Gerd(heartburn) are serious issues- just find out if your insurance company covers the surgery and fiond out if there is any exclusion clause- call them up try not to worry
