approved 12/12/06 how much longer do I have to wait

any feedback on how long the WAIT is after approval usually and after the final office visit prior? cant believe this is happening-my trests are all done except blood test- anyone know

My first visit with Dr. Roye was December 7th 2005 I called Annette on December 20th cuze I was going nuts and just HAD to know if I was approved. Annette gets on the phone and says to me "You just got an early Christmas gift, Your Approved!" I received my official packet in the mail December 23rd 2005 and let me tell you it was the best Christmas gift ever!!!! I started my testing January 18th and finished all my testing and had my blood work on February 22nd 2006. I called Dr Royes office that day and got a date of March 20th to see him and go over my test and to hopefully get my surgery date... On March 20th 2006 I got my surgery date of June 27th 2006. So from start to finish for me was about 6 months from start to finish but I think I'm an exception because I was lucky enough to have a few of my tests set up back to back on the same day and right after each other. From what I understand it seems like it roughly takes about three months from your last visit with Dr. Roye once everything's completed to get in for surgery. My hubby finished up his testing and saw him in September and got his surgery date Of December 28th and that was three months too... It's not the rule but it may be something to be able to gauge things for yourself.... I know there are other surgeons that work with Dr. Roye there that move things along a bit quicker because they get more O.R. time then Dr, Roye does, and some people switched doctors because of this, but for me I was ok with waiting... I went to Royes office with a file as thick as a phone book- included were every single test I could think of and my lifes worth of medical records.. and all of the weigh****chers info I copuld find.. Roye said all I need now is the blood test then I can schedule. i was just curious to know when I would get my package since I know I am approved- when can I schedule the next visit? do I have to wait to get the package?
