does healthmate require 6 months prior of supervised dieting

how does this work

you need to call the number on the back of your card, give them your member ID# and ask them that question. Each insurance policy differs depending on what your company has bought into with their plan(s). I have healthmate and don't need 6 months.. but my friend also had healthmate, and her policy required that she does.. so it's very indivudual. So no one but BCBS can answer these kind of questions. Hi Kristen- I just Called blue cross again and they went over everything with me again. People keep telling me different things. I don't need 6 months supervised diet though I am currently seeing a nutritionist and I have lost 8 lbs on weigh****chers.. I have written a 9 page letter on my weight loss attempts lol.. I have been dieting since 1966- also I have provided documentation from weigh****chers reflecting membership registration prior to this year..
