Hi EVERYONE.....wow, lots of new people here now

Hi Elaine, Jess, Shannon, Deney!!!...Teri, Kristen.....and EVERYONE else....... Tons going on since surgery.....I got custody of my 2 young grandsons. It's really been ugly sometimes within the family but I'm trying to keep it together. And for those of you who don't know, my 3 year old is autistic, so I have my hands full. I got them less than 3 weeks after surgery so I've been running my tail feathers off since then. I'm down 71 pounds in 10 weeks. I see Dr. Roye on Friday for my first check up since he saw me at about 2 weeks out. He should be pleased. I'm hoping so. All my girlfriends at work say that they can see a big difference. I can certainly FEEL a difference, but I guess starting out at 339, I just still feel fat....I dunno. I just don't really see it. Am I crazy? Sometimes I think so when I'm sitting there watching cartoons and realize I'm the only one in the room and the kids are asleep. Oh snap......I don't have to watch this anymore!!! LOL. As far as eating habits....I'm all over the place, but I don't eat sweets (really not interested much). Honestly, I ate EVERYTHING before surgery but now I eat like 10 things. And what I liked last week is not a guarantee that I'll like it this week. I just can't figure it out. It's gotten my mother crazy...she can't keep up with what I like and don't like anymore. I even gagged on my Fruit20 water.....had to go to Flavor Splash Citrus and the Snapple Cranberry Raspberry is my FAVORITE!!! I live on juice now, I think. I told her not to worry about it. I just pick at it if I like it and walk away if I don't. But good god someone made smoked turkey for lunch today here at work and I wanted to barf in my little trashcan for the putrid smell .......I just can't get away from it. LOL. So no smoked turkey for me, if anyone was thinking of sending me one. LOL. My mom made some beef stew in the crock pot and I had to tell her to take it outside. Even smells get to me now.....and it's usually bad. I hardly ever throw up...maybe twice. And it was my own fault. But man oh man, sometimes I could spew with some of the smells that get around me. And if I ate it last week, perhaps just the sight of it this week will make me run for cover......it's just nuts I tell ya! Well, .....Getting a divorce.....the company I work for was sold and now I'm wondering how long I'll have a job.....got some babies in the house now.... AND my mother is STILL here (still hasn't gone back to Oklahoma yet). The agreement was that she would come and take care of me for a couple of weeks after surgery. I keep trying to tell her that the woods are REAL dark behind my house and there's plenty of places to hide the body, but she just smiles and thinks I'm kidding. No judge would convict me, right? FILM AT 11!!! So there it is. My little update. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE........and I hope you all have a very wonderful and healthy new year. And for those of you who are WAITING.......just keep taking one step at a time. If anyone knows about jumping hurdles to have this surgery, it's me. But sooner or later, it all works out in the end. OMG IIITTSS SSSHHEELLIII! I have been waiting so long to hear from u!! U have to give me ur number because ur other one is not working. Im so glad that things are getting better for u right now and knowing that u went through a tough situation, YOU still survived it!!! Keep up the great work!! I have lost 65 pounds in 10 weeks and feel great. I cannot see the difference but I can definately feel the difference. People at work are finally noticing and are literally amazed. Guess who...I'm here...so busy lately, but I still try to check up once a week. So glad to hear everyone is doing well. Shel, Im sure your grandkids are giving you great exercise! I'm down 72 - 75...depends on the day. I can't weight myself again until Christmas Eve, hubby says I drive myself crazy! Can't wait until Christmas. My next appt is 1/2/07, I'll be one day off 14 weeks, hope I have some great results. Love you girls, hope everyone has a fantastic holiday. Hope Santa gets everyone what they want. I'll probably be at the next meeting, anyone else going?
