Hi, I'm back...stayed 2 nights in RI hospital. Had an upper GI..all was well. Nothing blocking. They did find extrememly low potassium count, so I needed meds for that, and of course, I got tons of fluid due to dehydration, and they gave me a liquid form of nexium. They're not really sure what was wrong, just that last night I began being able to hold down soup and water. Dr. Harrington came to see me...told me if he had to guess, I coaught some type of stomach virus...and since I'm only out 6 weeks, my immune system wasn't ready for it. Then throwing up so much caused me to get low potassuim and dehydrated...and that just made matters worse. But so far, so good. I'm not complaining at all, it's ok...I knew there would be some bumps in the road! And thank god it was just a bumb and not a 'hill'!

OH Jess, that is awesome that u finally found out what was wrong and that u are back on the road to recovery!! I was worried that u might have had a stricture. Keep us all posted on what is going on. Keep up the great work!! I am now down to 279 as of this morning, so that makes it a grand total of 48 pounds!! I am so happy that I did this! If u asked me that three weeks ago I would have said why the heck did I do this to myself!! I am finally seeing the results and it is the best feeling ever. Do u feel the same way? U will get stronger day by day now that u found out what was wrong. Shannon
