Update...

Today is one month out for me. Weight at beginning = 342 Surgery day = 339 Today = 301 for a total of 38 lbs in one month...WOW! I love it...still don't feel it....but I know I will soon! How is everyone else doing? I'm eating well...was given another idea for food today that I'm going to try...meat pie, inside only. Even chicken pie blended...I'll let you know how it goes!

Hey Jess- congrats to you!! Today is both our 1 month surgiversary day!! weight at beginning= 327, surgery day= 317, Today= 293 for a total of 24 pounds in one month. yyeeaahhh!!. I have been doing a little better with the protein now I got up to soft foods. I can see the difference in my clothes but I still cannot see it personally but overall I am starting to feel like my old self again. I go back to work in 2 weeks because I lift and roll pts for a living so I got extended for a few more weeks, so I am okay with that. SHELLI HOW ARE U? HOPE THINGS ARE GOING WELL! shannon

Hi Shannon,...everyone... I've been losing weight like crazy but not because I've been doing all the right things. My youngest daughter had a breakdown from all the stress of family, nursing school and working in the hospital (and she's a recovering alcoholic from her teen years). She's really in a bad place right now and I have custody of her 2 sons (1 and 3) while she gets better. I just stopped eating it seems. I've lost a total of 44 pounds since surgery and like you Shannon...I can't see a thing has changed on my body...but boy do my clothes fit differently. I'm trying to eat something everyday, but things just don't sound good anymore. I am drinking a bit more but I don't think it's enough yet. Anyway, I'm not so sure if I can make it tonight. The children are my priority and the separation from their mom has been difficult. Their dad is around alot but doesn't help much since he's so upset about everything that's happened. So, I can't leave them on my poor mother...she's just too old. I'll see what I can do, but if I'm not there...remember I love you guys and you're doing great. I always think about you. Hey Shelli- Wow u are going through some stuff right now. I will keep ur daughter and her children in my prayers. U have to think of ur self sometimes or u might end up in the hospital though. U are too caring to end up in the hosp, we do not want u getting dehydrated!!!! Congrats on the weightloss!! I lost 30 pounds so far and 40 total. I go back to work in 1 week which is kinda good because I am getting bored at home. Hope things get better for you! Shannon
