Switching Doctors

Hi All, I've noticed that a few people have switched Doctors partway through the process - like from Dr. Roye to Dr. Ryder, etc..... I was just curious what prompted the changes? Timing, personal preference? Also, is there a posting for the support group on the 1st @ RIH anywhere so I can get more info (I don't want to get lost...lol) Thanks!

I never had Roye--too long of a wait for him! BUT I did have Harrington and switched to Ryder. Dr harrington is awesome, Dr Ryder is awesome!! The reason for the switch is simple- dr Harrington only does RNY and I changed my mind and wanted lap band. So Dr Ryder was in the same practice, not too much wait time, so i grabbed her! (so to speak!) Kerry

Thanks Kerry Every tiny bit of info helps! I haven't met Dr Roye yet but everyone I've spoken to so far has done nothing but rave about him. Hopefully, things will move along quickly and without too many bumps in the road.
