What to eat?

Hi everyone: What was everyone eating one week out? I've mainly been sticking to yogart w/1scoop of whey protein, tomato soup, mash potatoes. Is this what I should be eating or did others try other things? Thanks, Kelli

I was drinking protein shakes. Being only one week out there isnt too much you can eat and I wouldn't either. Low fat soups like cream of chicken or mushroom is very good. Try a little at a time, very little. I was drinking coffee as soon as I got home. It didnt hurt me and i felt really good sippig it. I also drank cold water, ate a little baked sweet potatoe which was very good because its easy to digest. Stick to the liquidy and mushy things until your doc gives you the ok to try other things.

i stuck to the cream of chicken/mushroom soup, made with FF milk. i didn't eat mashed potatoes because they have no protein and are, esentially, empty calories. yogurt is good, and cream of wheat, made with milf, if you can handle it. personally, i hate the stuff. lol. once you're moved to puree, then you can start eating the refried beans and pastless manicotti.. mushy stuff!
