Two More Days for me

Well the time has come...Tuesday is my big day. I am fighting a cold and am scared that they will postpone the surgery....I am trying everything in my power to get rid of it. Anybody have any suggestions?? Anyone else go through this. I have been taking vitamins for over 3 months now and keep getting sick, I thought that they were supposed to help you not make you sick...lol I keep getting bronchitis!! Wish me luck and pray for me that this darn cough goes away, I will be very upset if I can't get this done. I already took the last of my time off for the year for this procedure!!! Kristen D

Kristen D........... On Tuesday, I will be 3 weeks out and it will be YOUR day. I will be thinking about you and am sure things will be great. I did want to tell you that last fall/winter was the worst in my life for problem ailments and Dr. Roye is concerned about those types of things. Above all else, be honest. Believe me, if anyone knows about waiting and disappointment, it's me......BUT......do not risk your health for anything. I had bronchitis and every itis there was (not kidding at all). I ended up with pnumonia. I don't know what was going on last winter, but it was terrible for me. I don't think my body would have healed near as fast if I had had the procedure done then. Of course, I'm not trying to scare you. I'm not saying you can't have it done now. Just be honest about how you're feeling. They will be taking your temp and everything pre-op so if all is well, you will be a loser in a couple of days. Take care of yourself....we're all rooting for you. Shel

Hey Shel, How are you feeling?? Are things going well for you?? I am so excited for tomorrow, I did wake up this morning and not really coughing. Of course I have been loading up on delsym, albuterol and advir..not to mention halls cough drops. and I have some antibiotics that I keep on hand for this...I am prone to this all fall/winter. I am drinking tea and water hoping that it is all a go for the morning. I am Dr. Royes 1st case tomorrow...I can't wait!! say a little prayer that everything goes well and this darn cough is gone by the am!! See ya on the other side!!!' Kristen

Kristen, Gosh, I disappear off the boards for a bit and it's everyone surgery date! Well, I'm reading this Tuesday--your day!! I'm sure you're laying around in your hospital bed right now all woozie from the drugs (hopefully!) and everything went splendidly! Can't wait to hear how you are. CONGRATS! Trace

Im there for u kristen all is well and your going to be fine after a week and that goes by so quick I went back to work yesterday and I feel fine e mail me as soon as you get home or if you need anything . I around. Elaine
