Aw thanks Shelli, I love talking to you too!!! I might call u later on to see how u r doing. The visiting nurse should be by shortly. Just taking my time and learning what to put protein in and trying to concentrate on my fluids. The pain is finally starting to subside a bit as my incisions heal, but overall I am not doing to bad. Hi its elaine and im home resting and preparing to get out in a day or two for a little while and go to kohls is my planned trip. As shelli said the day of surgery my daughter went for a sonagram and when I woke up they were there to tell me :its a girl ; so im besides my self and need to go shopping . so im home relaxing for grammas day out or even an hour out. glad to see everyone is mending and a little more up to speed. i know i cant go wed. night now so ill be there next. month. seee you all then and ill see such a big difference. take care ladies. and drink up . elaine

Hello ladies! Well, I must say today is a new day...starting to feel better...even going to my step son's football practice tonight (going stir crazy). I'll bring a pillow and chair so it won't be to much. I too am waiting for the visiting nurse. I'm also waiting for the doctors office to call. Seems Dr. Harrington is out of the office next week, when I'm supposed to get my staples removed. I can't wait to get them out, I know I'll feel SO much better. So may go Friday, we'll see. Feeling good today...was able to do most of my showering myself today (can't lie, I probably could have done more - but I really didn't mind havind Ralph help!!!) I love him more now then ever seeing how much he's been stepping up! My back is killing me, because of the way I stand and have to pull when I get up, my legs too. The musle is starting to rebuild, I can feel it. I started last night having small cravings...but nothing to bad and all that I handled well! I actually looked in the mirror today and NOTICED that I do look like I dropped a few! What a great feeling! Can't wait till I'm getting around better. Soon, I know. Still only doing water, broth, popsicles and if I want to go crazy a cream soup! Nothing else. I'm up to a WHOLE popsicle before getting full in about 20 minutes, unreal! Love you ladies!

Hi Jessica: I'm so glad you are feeling a little better. I know Dr. Harrington will be back by next Friday, as I'm scheduled. Don't do to much and keep sipping your water. Have you started on the protein shakes yet? I bought what I will need, and I've started taking the Biotin for my hair/nails. When you get a chance, can you email about how Dr. H handles things after surgery. i.e. catheter, leak test. Thanks......Kelli

Hey Shel, Wow, I have been out of the loop so busy at work. You did a great job and I am so happy for you and all the other Spetember girls LOL. You are all beautiful and I am so happy you all made it to the losing side safely. Take it easy Shel and dont lift too much. I am soooo sooooo happy your mom is helping u out and you 2 are getting along.
