I've gone through some of the clothes that I stored in my attic and have some really nice things in perfect condition, that I can no longer wear, some even still have the tags on them! Probably about 12 pairs of jeans and even more dress pants and some blouses and shirts.I was wondering if anyone could use them. Most are between a 24 and 26. I'd be happy to bring them to Wednesday's meeting. Maybe we could possibly have a quickie clothing swap if other members have items they no longer wear. Whaddaya think? Pam

Thats a great idea, and if you need to buy in between clothes...try Savers in East Providence. They have tons of winter stuff now and jeans galore. I get some really nice things there for 5 and 6 dollars apiece...jeans included. I couldnt get over the people that shop there...its always crowded. Nice stuff and cheap!!! Swapping is a great thing too. Your clothes sound very good, but thankfully I am down to a size 22. Bring them Wednesday. Carol b

Hi Carol, LOVE Savers!!!!!! I was there Labor Day when they had the half off sale. My husband and I both got some things with the labels still on them for $3.00!!!!!! Amazing! Pam

i'm not going to be able to make the next couple meetings. I just realized it now! I have 5pm meetings for my new job, Monday through Thursday and they last until 7. What a bummer! On the same sort of note of getting rid of gently used clothing, a very good friend of mine has just opened a consignment shop at the Emporium by URI. It is called Ancora and she would love the business. I've just given her a whole trash bag of clothes to start a plus size section. So, if you end up having clothing left over after these meetings, maybe taking the clothes to Ancora would be an option for you. i think the store is off of Fortin Road, but i can get an address if anyone's interested.

Hey Kristen honey.......you've done so great. Good for you. I am interested in your friends store now that I've moved close to the URI area. Can you send me that info. Thank you. And I'm glad your job is working out so well for you. Shel

Hey Kristen, If nobody ends up taking the clothes, do you want them for your friends shop? I don't ever get down that way, so I'd probably end up bringing them to Savers. Pam
