hi, I'm back

I haven't posted here in a long time. I was a member before and never had surgery. I had a lot of stuff going on in my life. I had a consult with Dr. Pohl for lap-band surgery, but never had the testing done. I used to post on the lap-band board. It's good to be back and I am reconsidering surgery, but am considering RNY. My question is does anywhere here go to Dr. Ryder, I heard she's good. But I might just stick with Dr. Pohl. I have to do something, I'm so discouraged and feeling so sick all the time. thanks for letting me talk. susan

Hi Susan, welcome back! I don't have Dr. Ryder, but have heard quite a bit of good things about her. I chose Dr. Roye, just because he's adorable...LOL just kidding!! Anyway, good luck in your decision. L.

I am seeing Dr. Pohl. I have met Dr. Ryder and I really really liked her. But where as I want to have the LapBand and she is still new and I have already been going to Dr. Pohl and taking all the test for him. I am sticking with him. I have only one more thing to do. And then I will be calling him back after all my testing is done. Dr. Ryder is young and very personable. And that is something I liked, plus she is female which is even more that I liked as well. I say you should make an appointment and then decided whom you want to stay with. Ciao, Jamice
