I HATE MY SCALE!!!!

Hi, I REALLY need some support again! I feel like something is wrong with me. I KNOW there's something wrong with my scale. And yes, I know we're not supposed to be scale slaves. I have cut waaayyy back, from weighing every day, to weighing once a week. But reading everyone's incredible progress makes me wonder why it's not me! I know, I know, everyone is different, but I am seriously bumming. I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything right and I'm exercising more than I ever have in my entire life! If I go by today's weigh in I've only lost two pounds this week! I could lose two pounds a week with regular dieting. I didn't go through all this to get piddly two pound weight losses. My check up with Dr. Roye isn't until mid-October. The way I feel right now, if I could, I'd eat myself silly with chocolate (I have yet to attempt to eat chocolate). I'm trying to sound glib, but I am seriously upset about this. Anybody got a tissue? Wallowing in my own pity party. Pam

Pam, Dont wallow........i had an lap rny and I am losing approx 2 lbs a week......It's great that you are losing that much. You have to be eating a lot less then you were because to lose 2 lbs a week you cant be eating more than 1100 calories a day. Everyone is different. Thats what my doc said to me yesterday when i saw him for my 3 months visit..which was actually almost 4 months...i have lost 60 lbs..and i read the posts every day and think i am a very slow loser and i go to the gym twice a week maybe more. The doc said i am just right with the weight. He wants me to lost another 60 lbs ...I hope i can do it...He said to me.....DON'T COMPARE YOUSELF WITH ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL SEE WHEN YOU LADIES HAVE YOUR WLS AND YOU WILL SEE HOW DIFFERENT YOU ALL FEEL AFTER ... .... carol b
